Still blocking the OpenGL 4.0 compliance is incomplete GL_ARB_shader_subroutine and GL_ARB_tessellation_shader support. ![]() The state of Mesa and Intel's driver support for GL 4.x can be found via the Mesa documentation. This GL 4.4 support is working for at least Broadwell graphics and presumably Haswell too, but as of writing there's been no official release announcement of this new Windows driver on Intel's web-site. The Intel Windows driver is up to supporting the OpenGL 4.4 specification while the company's open-source Linux graphics driver still doesn't yet fully support OpenGL 4.0.Ī Phoronix reader pointed out today that with the new Intel Windows driver there's now OpenGL 4.4.0 compliance with GLSL 4.40.
